East Hill
In this 1920s center hall colonial, the challenge was opening the kitchen to feel more contemporary while preserving the home’s formal symmetry and historic detail. Thoughtful material choices, including patterned tile inspired by the client’s antique rugs and classic navy cabinetry, allowed the new kitchen to feel both fresh and rooted in tradition. Custom cabinetry and reconfigured spaces support a serious cook, everyday family life, and even the family dog, all while respecting the home’s antiques and architectural integrity.
